Join us in the vibrant city of New Orleans for Brain Invaders: Tumors of the Nervous System, a full-day workshop designed to sharpen your diagnostic edge in neuropathology. Featuring five renowned speakers, this in-person event will cover the latest updates from the upcoming volume of Surgical Pathology of Tumors of Domestic Animals.
Expect an immersive experience with case-based discussions, expert-led presentations, and a brain-teasing histology quiz
🧠 Course Objectives
- Identify and classify nervous system tumors using updated nomenclature
- Understand the principles and guidelines for diagnosis and reporting
- Integrate clinical, gross, and microscopic findings
- Participate in an interactive quiz to reinforce diagnostic skills
This workshop will allow participants to identify tumors of the nervous system, highlighting the most recent changes in nomenclature, principles and guidelines for diagnosis and reporting. Attendees will recognize the importance of combining clinical, gross and microscopic interpretation for diagnosis. Finally, there will be an interactive case-based discussion with an interactive tumor histology quiz. This quiz will be used to illustrate the approach used by the presenters, highlighting the diagnostic features of nervous system tumors and their differential diagnoses.
